A Journey Through Perspective Art Exhibit Inaugurates In New York
The art exhibition and networking event: “A Journey Through Perspective: Artists for Venezuelan Journalists”, made a splash opening on Wednesday, September 19, by drawing a sizable audience of art investors, collectors and enthusiasts, delighted by the unique combination of pieces on display. This event is being held in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States, and also to commemorate the fifty-second anniversary of the Journalism Institute for Social Prevention (Instituto de Previsión Social del Periodista, in Spanish abbreviated as IPSP) in Venezuela, one of the collaborating organizations.
The event is a partnership between IPSP, ArteLatAm, a New York City-based arts organization, the New York International Contemporary Art Society (NYICAS), and the Art Business Collection (ARTBco), one of the main online art marketplaces. The exhibition will continue through September 24 at Saphira & Ventura Gallery, located at 4 West 43rd Street New York, NY 10036. This event is open to the public during gallery hours from 1pm to 6pm. On Saturday, September 22 at 6 pm, Alcinda Saphira and Carlos Torres Machado, co-curators of the exhibition, will provide a special treat: a guided tour and webinar (for virtual audiences outside of New York City).
