Magdaly graduated from the Central University of Venezuela with a Bachelors Degree in Architecture. During her professional career she continued her education in different areas of art at the Metropolitan University; including a certificate in Occidental Art and a certificate in Venezuelan art, also a certificate in Digital Business, at Central University Economy school.
Magdaly Montenegro has worked as an architect and an artist (Fine Arts).
Her work explores geometric abstraction with an emphasis on color; where geometry and color become the subjects of her intriguing paintings. The carefully selected tints, shapes and color create the illusion of volume, space, vibration, and transparency.
Magdaly’s work has been in a number of prestigious and competitive shows. She won First Place in sculpture at Wynwood Juried Show Spring 2017 and Best Digital art at the 13th Annual ART Competition organized by the City of Pembroke Pines 2017.
