Enrique Agramonte was born on July 27, 1971, in Guanabacoa, La Habana, Cuba, where he studied. In his childhood, he entered the Napoleonic Museum where he expressed his vocation for painting.
In 1989, he continued his artistic training at the National School of Fine Arts, San Alejandro. He is prominent in inter-collegial and national contests, and won First Prize in Drawing in the inter-collegial contest of the year 1989. In addition, he is awarded the First Prize in the National Contest of Plastic Arts for Young Artists organized by the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) held in Havana in 1991. In 1994, he established his address in San Juan, Puerto Rico where he lives and works.
