  • Born in Havana, Cuba in1963. He was a renowned multidisciplinary artist, graduated from the National Fine Arts San Alejandro Academy in Havana. He lived in Mexico for more than 20 years and had exhibited in several countries and international fairs such as Art Basel in Switzerland and Miami. His work is in major public and private collections, among which that of the late Prince Egon von Furstenberg, Gloria Estefan, Nina Menocal, Amaury Perez, Silvio Rodriguez, Claude Bernard, Spencer Throckmorton, the Museum of Fine Arts of Cuba, the Museum of Arts of Mexico, IDB Washington, David Floria Gallery in Aspen, and in galleries in Brasilia and Basel. Ulises González dabbled in different art forms, primarily in painting, but also was recognized for its facilities very personal, passionate style and strong identity. . His work, entitled "Art in Motion" transgressed not only the traditional canons but also borders, and came immediately to each viewer and locality where these appropriations were received. Thus, he became the artist with the most number of exhibitions in the world in the shortest time. He died in 2015.
