He was born in Oaxaca, Mexico March 27, 1959. A civil engineer by trade. He studied at the Graphic Workshop of the Cultural del Istmo in Juchitan from 1980 to 1983, the year he entered the School of Fine Arts, Painting and Printmaking INBA in Oaxaca. From 1984 to 1985 he studied at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving La Esmeralda in Mexico City. From 1989 to 1990 he studied ceramics at the Casa de Cultura del Istmo in Juchitan. In 1989 he won the First Prize Acquisition in the IX National Meeting of Young Art in Aguascalientes. He was the first Mexican to receive the Gran Paleta de Oro in the XXVI at International Painting Festival of the Grimaldi Castle Museum in Cagnes-Sur Mer, France in 1994. He was a poet, novelist, editor, singer of boleros. In 1989 he published the book of poetry "Siempre en llamas" and in 1995 the novel "Zeferino y su hermana Marian Pombo". He created the Guiée Xhúuba foundation promoting culture in the region Foundation. He died on March 21, 1997 in Mexico City.
