Miguel Von Dangel
He lives in Venezuela since 1950. In 1963 he en- rolled at the School of Visual Arts Cristobal Rojas, which followed the free courses and Engraving Decoration latter dictated by Luis Guevara Moreno. However, their formation was mainly self-taught, in contact with nature and taking as an example the work of Barbaro Rivas, who was resident in Petare, where Von Dangel population has always lived. He was part of Artmagedón group whose activities were developed in the Helena Gallery Pavlu and in 1973 and 1974 was invited to the I and II Award Ernesto Avellan, at the Sala Mendoza. In 1981 he made his first trip to Europe. With the return of the fourth ship , monumental work of 5 x 10 m, attends the Biennale of Sao Paulo in 1983. The latter year he participated as the sole representative of Venezuela at the Venice Biennale, Italy.
